Cut- I'd like to ask the writer

I 'd like to ask the writer, why she made a book about people who has a disorder. Why she wrote in a first point of view on a character who had a mental disorder, like cutting herself with something sharp. I wonder why she wrote about those kind of things. Why she put eating disordered people too.

Cut- personal connection

In this book there is a personal connection with the main character. The character wants to say something to someone she knows personaly,but was shy and never really have a conversation with that person. The character wanted to say something before the person leaves,but never got to say it. her mouth would never open. Sometimes I am like that and somethimes I am not. Most of the stuff in the story does not have a connection with me.

Good begining

In the begining of Cut, it sounded really interessting, but as you read on to the second page it made me want to squint my eyes and not look at the words in the book. This book talked about a girl who had a problem. She would cut herself with something sharp so she would feel good. There were too much discription about it which made me feel discusted and not happy. The mood of the book was depressing.

Looking at the cover of Cut, it seems so scary and depressing. Although it seems interessting to read. The cover is black and has red slash marks that looks like a cutting sign. It looks like this book is about someone having a problem mentally(people who cuts themselves to relieve their inner pain).
